If there were a gold medal for saying “I’ll do it later”…
I’d probably have a whole collection by now 😅

You too?

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve:

  • Added something to my cart… and left it there for weeks
  • Said “I really need to take better care of my skin”
  • Thought about doing my nails… and then didn’t

Not because I didn’t want to…
But because life just kept happening.

Laundry.
Work.
Grandkids.
Dinner.
Being tired.

And somehow I kept getting pushed to the bottom of the list.

💭 The Lie I Kept Telling Myself

“I’ll start when things slow down.”

But let’s be honest…

When does that actually happen?

Because for me… it didn’t.

There was always something:

  • A busy week
  • A messy house
  • A million little things that felt more important

💡 What Finally Shifted for Me

It wasn’t a big, life-changing moment.

I didn’t wake up one day suddenly motivated and organized.

I just got tired of waiting, tired of putting myself last.

So instead of trying to “do everything”…
I started tiny.

Like really tiny.

  • Putting on cuticle oil while sitting on the couch
  • Throwing on a set of nails in 10 minutes
  • Washing my face and actually using something good for my skin

Nothing fancy.
Nothing overwhelming.

But it made me feel like I was finally doing something for me.

⚖️ Something I’m Still Learning (Every Single Day)

Here’s the part I don’t always get right…

Sometimes, doing something for yourself means
something else doesn’t get done.

And that’s hard.

Because we’re so used to:

  • Saying yes to everyone else
  • Taking care of everything first
  • Making sure all the boxes are checked

But lately, I’ve been reminding myself of this:

It’s okay to drop a ball once in a while.

The laundry might wait… (it’s not going anywhere 😅)
The dishes might sit a little longer… (maybe they needed to soak anyway 😉)
That extra thing you could say yes to?
You don’t have to.

Because every time you say yes to everything else
you’re usually saying no to yourself.

And I’m starting to realize…

👉 It’s okay to say no to others sometimes
👉 But it’s even more important to say yes to yourself

Even if it’s just 10 minutes.
Even if it feels small.
Even if it’s not “perfect.”

💅 The Surprising Part

Those little things?

They changed more than I expected.

Not in a dramatic, overnight transformation kind of way… Not even in a way that makes a noticeable difference to outsiders.

But in a “I feel a little more put together today” kind of way.

And that feeling?

It matters.

Especially on the messy, real-life days.

💛 If You’ve Been Living in “I’ll Do It Later” Too…

This is your gentle reminder (from someone who totally gets it):

You don’t need:

  • A full routine
  • A perfect plan
  • To be the “yes” girl
  • Or extra time you don’t have

You just need to start somewhere.

Small counts.
Simple counts.
Even once counts.

✨ What I’m Doing Right Now

I’m keeping it easy and realistic:

  • ✔️ Cuticle oil twice a day (most days 😉)
  • ✔️ Nails that don’t require time I don’t have
  • ✔️ Simple skincare that I can actually stick with

That’s it.

No pressure.
No perfection.

Just… better than “later.”

💬 Real Talk…

If you’ve been thinking about starting something—
your nails, your skin, ordering that new bra sitting in your shopping cart for 3 weeks, or just taking a few minutes for yourself…

This is me giving you a little nudge 💛

Not to do it perfectly.

Just to begin.

And if something doesn’t get done…
oh well—it probably needed to wait anyway 😉

Because the truth is…

You never really stop being the “I’ll do it later” girl (You can’t fight nature😉).

You just get better at choosing what actually deserves your “later”…
and what deserves your right now.
